The Wayzata Yacht Club is pleased to announce that we are being honored this year with the STOP DIABETES Award from the American Diabetes Association. This is a tremendous honor and everyone who's assisted with and participated in the ADA Regatta over the past 10 years should be proud of what we've accomplished.
The honories for the Gala are as follows:
- Give: Wayzata Yatch Club for hosting ADA Regatta for 10 years and raising nearly $300,000
- Act: Al Franken for introducing Diabetes Bill
- Share: CW Twin Cities for sharing the story of diabetes with the community and their hope for a cure
- Learn: MSDE (Minneapolis St. Paul Diabetes Educators) for the organizations and members work everyday to help people and their families live well with diabetes.

We are pleased to announce the American Diabetes Association's Annual Gala to be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Treasure Island Resort & Casino. The event will be honoring healthcare and business professionals with a STOP DIABETES Award.
Wayzata Yatch Club will be presented with the Stop Diabetes Give Award for hosting the American Diabetes Association Sailing Regatta for 10 years and raising nearly $300,000.
The evening will consist of a silent auction, dinner, live auction, and entertainment. The money raised from the Gala will go to support diabetes research, information and advocacy. Please join us for this celebration.
